One mobile device for all eddy current testing tasks
Quick to set up. Easy to use. Precise results. The TCM is a modular eddy current testing device that combines multiple inspection and measurement applications in a single rugged system. Instead of using dedicated instruments for individual tasks, users simply select the required app directly on the TCM and adapt the device to their application. Individual app modules are available separately or in combination and can be expanded at any time with additional software modules and free software updates, ensuring the system grows with your inspection requirements.
The DEFECTOSCOP App enables universal eddy current testing with rotating, high-frequency and low-frequency probes for crack detection and residual wall thickness measurement. For precise electrical conductivity measurements of non-ferromagnetic metals, the SIGMATEST App builds on FOERSTER’s decades of expertise in conductivity testing. High-resolution eddy current array inspections of large areas with up to 512 channels can be performed efficiently using the ECA App. The ECMEASURE App completes the range with trainable, application-specific measurements based on reference samples, such as coating thickness, ferrite content or residual wall thickness.
Thanks to its modular software architecture, the TCM supports a wide range of inspection and measurement tasks across numerous industries – from conductivity measurement on aircraft structures and material verification to crack detection on rails, bridges and safety-critical components, as well as high-resolution surface inspection.
All applications run on the same TCM hardware with a consistent user interface and data concept for a short learning curve and intuitive operation. Windows 10 LTSC enables seamless IT integration as well as external displays, docking stations, remote support and familiar Windows workflows for inspection, data review and collaboration.
Free software updates continuously expand the TCM with new features and applications – without additional software costs. Combined with FOERSTER’s proven eddy current expertise and global service network, the TCM is a future-proof solution for flexible mobile testing.
