DATA2LINE Product Family
Comprehensive software for geophysical detection. Anyone who analyzes geophysical measurement data—whether in the search for unexploded ordnance, in borehole logging, or in archaeological prospecting—needs more than just precise sensor technology: The results must be traceable, documented, and reliable. DATA2LINE is FOERSTER’s data analysis and project management software for managing, processing, and interpreting geophysical survey data—from field data collection to the final report.
The base program forms the common foundation of the product family: import of various measurement data (including directly from FEREX or DATAMONITOR), compensation and cleaning of raw data, flexible organization of the workspace into layers, as well as georeferencing, visualization, and automated report generation. Three modules for specific applications build upon this foundation. UXO automatically calculates the location, depth, and extent of magnetic anomalies from magnetic field data and uses this information to generate object lists for explosive ordnance detection. BM extends this analysis into the third dimension: It locates ferromagnetic objects based on data recorded in boreholes and performs the determination, identification, of their position, depth, and size. GEO provides additional filters (including high-pass filter, median, and 2D-FFT) that can be used to specifically isolate weak or noisy signals—originally developed for archaeology, but now also used in demanding explosive ordnance clearance projects.
Whether as a standalone module or as a complete suite, DATA2LINE transforms raw geophysical data into documented, verifiable decision-making foundations. The software includes the BASIC core program as well as the supplementary modules BM, UXO, and GEO.
