For the eddy current testing of round and profiled non-ferromagnetic material with encircling coils

Precise eddy current testing of non-ferromagnetic semi-finished products. Sensor Systems H are designed for nondestructive testing of non-ferromagnetic semi-finished products. Combined with DEFECTOMAT testing and evaluation electronics, they inspect tubes, bars and wires with round or profiled cross-sections using the eddy current method. Sensor System H is particularly suited for continuous testing and covers material diameters from 0.3 to 100 mm.

Depending on the application, encircling or segment coils are used for defect detection. In multi-differential configuration, they compare adjacent material areas and detect short surface defects with high sensitivity. An additional absolute winding supports the detection of elongated material discontinuities and can also be used for basic material mix-up testing.

The two system sizes H 40 and H 90 provide flexible adaptation to different material diameters and testing requirements. A range of test coils, protective nozzles and adapters allows the sensor system to be optimally matched to the material geometry and testing task. In addition to standard round cross-sections, profiled materials can also be inspected.

The robust and compact coil holders can be easily integrated into existing testing lines. Mechanically protected test coils and protective nozzles ensure reliable operation even in demanding production environments.
