STATOVISION TCL
Software for Surface Quality Visualization
Innovative C-Scan Analysis of Eddy Current Data. In combination with the eddy current testing instruments of the TCL product family, the STATOVISION TCL software displays inspection signals in a clear and easy-to-interpret C-scan. This creates a precise representation of a component’s surface quality and enables highly accurate localization of surface defects.
Typical applications include the visualization and evaluation of eddy current inspection data for crack detection and grinding burn testing on brake discs, camshafts, output shafts, sleeves, rolls, and other complex components.
Up to four TCL test instruments can be integrated simultaneously, making the system ideal for multi-channel applications, higher inspection speeds, or the parallel inspection of multiple test tracks or components.
STATOVISION TCL is the logical evolution of the proven STATOVISION CM software. All settings are configured centrally within the STATOVISION software environment. This significantly simplifies commissioning, parameterization, and day-to-day operation, as all configurations are managed centrally, stored reproducibly, and can be adapted quickly whenever required.
Another key advantage is the reliable pattern recognition capability of the STATOVISION software. Interfering geometries such as holes, grooves, chamfers, surface structures, or other recurring component features can be specifically identified and masked out. This allows relevant defect indications to become truly “visible” and be evaluated accordingly.
Comprehensive documentation of the entire inspection process supports thorough quality assurance and ensures full traceability of every inspected component.
The software is used as a complete solution together with the specially designed STATOVISION Controller and can be connected flexibly to external monitors with suitable resolution.
STATOVISION TCL also provides a powerful foundation for future AI-supported applications. Surface images generated from eddy current data can be analyzed using customer-specific AI models. This enables, for example, the automatic recognition of similar defect patterns, intelligent suppression of interfering geometries, or the integration of customized evaluation algorithms for specific inspection tasks.
