From October 24 to 27, FOERSTER was represented with a stand at the annual conference of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) in Long Beach, California. A total of over 200 exhibitors participated in the conference with accompanying trade fair. The ASNT is the world's largest conference for engineers, researchers, and experts to exchange information on the latest findings, new products, and technologies in the area of non-destructive testing.
At the 200 m² FOERSTER stand, visitors were able to learn about the new DEFECTOMAT DA with the patented DEFECTOARRAY segment encircling coil as well as have a closer look at wiring testing with the CIRCOGRAPH. The DEFECTOMAT DA in particular attracted the attention of visitors. The completely digital signal processing opens up entirely new possibilities in testing. It has 256 physical testing channels available. With the unique, segmented DEFECTOARRAY encircling coils, which allow even more reliable error checking with an innovative distance compensation, it was possible to show visitors the direction in which the future of non-destructive testing is developing.
This year, the visitors were especially interested in the presentations and conferences. In a presentation to the public, FOERSTER showed the remarkable results that can be achieved with the DEFECTOMAT DA in combination with the DEFECTOARRAY segment encircling coils. The audience was visibly impressed, and many interesting discussions were subsequently held at the trade fair stand.
