Non-Destructive Eddy Current Testing Equipment

The CT Division deals with the development, the production and the sales of eddy current measuring instruments and automatic testing equipment for the non-destructive testing of metal components and small parts. With the FOERSTER STATOGRAPH, parts of components close to the surface are examined for flaws (cracks, pores, shrink- holes, etc.) with high resolution and sensitivity.

The well-known FOERSTER MAGNATEST is the reference in material and grain structure testing (alloying, heat treatment, hardness, hardness depth, ...). Our customers are in the metalworking industry, in particular, areas which place high requirements on quality and reliability. Typical applications of eddy current testing are the critical safety- related components in the automobile industry, such as:

• Wheel hubs, axle ends, bearings
  
• Brake disks, brake drums, brake pistons
  
• Steering axles, ball pins, push rods Crankshafts, camshafts, gearshift shafts
  

FOERSTER testing systems are used everywhere where the highest test sensitivity and reliability are important. The testing devices them- selves - together with optimally adapted test sensors - form the basis for successful integration in the production lines of our customers. Depending upon customer requirements and wishes, we can deliver only the test electronics and sensors, or we design and deliver complete automatic testing stations including all necessary handling devices. Integration of customer wishes and requirements during the planning phase makes it possible for us to implement customized solutions.
